Just so they aren't the "Beat the computer before he eats everything so you eat him first!" It's just levels with a hard time limit. This might also lead to the option of specific courses that require multiple players to work together to reach a common goal, similar to various two-player levels that were in the second game.
If done with other players, then they could have the option to team up with them.

Perhaps there could even be an arena mode where players could either fight computer-controlled characters or other players. Another idea could involve an ant who magically ends up in a world where everything's made out of candy and food and gingerbread men live in gingerbread houses. The universes could introduce new feasters and themes such as a tardigrade in a universe where people have shrunk themselves down to explore and possibly create societies in the microcosms. They could have finally finished eating their universes and met each other in the void of a multiverse, choosing various developer and player-designed universes to eat.
TASTY PLANET HORSE SERIES
It could be an opportunity for people to upload their own fan-made courses, but I'm mostly thinking that it would be a good way for all of the various "feasters" throughout the series to meet, greet and possibly eat each other. The "course" part of the name would be a pun on how meals can come in various courses and lately, various franchises have made the general public more aware of the idea of multiverses and how they can be used as devices for storytelling.
What about Tasty Planet: Multi-Course Multiverse?
